Danielle Kavanagh-Smith was a Project Leader with the Government Performance Lab. Previously, Danielle was a Program Manager at the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS), where she managed a federally funded commercial revitalization grant program for community-based organizations. Prior to SBS, Danielle spent two-and –a-half years working on various small business research projects with the Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation (WHEDco) and the India China Institute (ICI). Danielle holds a BA in International Political Economy from Fordham University and an MPhil in Economics from The New School for Social Research, where she is currently pursuing her PhD.
