Tara Ghassemikia

Tara Ghassemikia was a Government Innovation Fellow in Washington State with the state Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). She helped develop and pilot supportive prevention interventions for substance-using pregnant women that come to the attention of DCYF. Prior to joining the Government Performance Lab, Tara consulted for foundations, nonprofits, and governments across the United States, East Africa, West Africa, and South Asia. During this time, she provided strategy and research advisory to maternal, reproductive, and child health initiatives. Tara holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the University of Washington.
