Shylah Duchicela

Shylah Duchicela was a Project Leader with the Procurement and Economic Mobility team where she worked with cities in Latin America improve their procurement and contracting systems to serve residents better. Previously, Shylah supported the Opportunity Accelerator initiative at the GPL, a national, five organization collaboration to help governments promote economic mobility, reduce racial disparities in outcomes and ultimately improve the wellbeing of residents. She has worked with governments in Memphis, TN and San Antonio, TX.

Before that, Shylah worked as a senior fiscal policy analyst with the Massachusetts Senate Committee on Ways and Means. Her portfolio of work included the public health, mental health, and disability support services accounts. She is also an AmeriCorps alum and served in Boston, MA. Shylah earned an MPP from Duke University and holds a BA in Public Policy and Sociology from the University of Delaware.
