Sarah worked as a Government Innovation Fellow, assisting with performance improvement projects for Medicaid programs through her employment with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Sarah graduated from Harvard Kennedy School with a Master’s in Public Administration in International Development. During her time there she worked with the Harvard Center for International Development to engage the Albanian diaspora in economic growth and development of Southeastern Europe. Previously, she worked on community economic development as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. In this role she worked with community-based organizations to strengthen their organizational and business-management capacity and trained community members in income generation, organizational development, and business skills. Sarah holds an MA in Economics from the University of British Columbia, as well as a BA in Mathematics from Ball State University.
