Rebecca Graffy is an Assistant Director at the Government Performance Lab where she leads a team working with city governments to undertake top-to-bottom procurement transformations. She came to the GPL after almost a decade in the global public health space. Over this time Rebecca managed initiatives to make high quality medicines, diagnostics, and prophylactics available in the developing world at affordable prices, including negotiation of three agreements that are collectively projected to save $250 million for public sector buyers. She also led a team embedded within the South African government, providing technical assistance to advance the country’s malaria elimination campaign.

Rebecca holds a BA in Philosophy from Tufts University. She is based in Long Beach, CA.
