
Pamela Portocarrero
Government Innovation Fellow
Pamela Portocarrero was a Government Innovation Fellow with the Procurement and Economic Mobility team at the Government Performance Lab. While at the GPL, Pamela developed internal evaluation and impact measurement tools to guide procurement programs for public sector leaders to make their practices more efficient, results-driven, equitable, and sustainable. Prior to joining the GPL, Pamela worked at the intersection of education, public policy, and social justice. Her previous work includes developing fundraising strategies at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, improving college access and education success for underserved youth populations in the states of Utah and Nevada, and engaging grassroot organizations with state and local governments around issues of immigration, school-to-prison pipeline, and community activism. Pamela earned her MPA from Old Dominion University and holds dual BA degrees in Political Science and International Studies from The University of Utah.
