Government Innovation Fellow


Natosha Dobbins is a Government Innovation Fellow supporting Pretrial Justice work on the Safety & Justice team. She is currently working on piloting a service referral system within the Superior Court of Alameda County with the goal of connecting more pretrial clients to community-based services, Collaborative Courts and Behavioral Health Court. At the GPL, she also previously worked on advancing the structural well-being of individuals by improving economic mobility and promoting racial equity.

Prior to joining the GPL, Natosha worked as a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant, where she aided non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and law firms in establishing and maintaining inclusive environments and improving workplace culture. She also served as an AmeriCorps Vista fellow, where she was a communications specialist at a non-profit organization specializing in affordable housing.

Natosha graduated with a Master of Social Work from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she also co-founded the Action Lab for Social Justice. Natosha also holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
