Natasha Hicks

Natasha Hicks was a Government Innovation Fellow working with the City of Detroit on economic mobility and housing preservation. She worked with the City’s Housing and Revitalization Department on forming contracts with neighborhood-based organizations that serve as housing resource centers. Natasha recently received concurrent graduate degrees in Urban Planning and Design Studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she focused on social resiliency and applying design thinking to government systems and infrastructures. She also served as a Bloomberg Harvard Summer Fellow for the City of Charleston, where she helped the city develop their first strategic plan for affordable housing called Housing for a Fair Charleston. Before attending graduate school, Natasha practiced as a Junior Architect at two small architecture firms in New York City. Natasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Stanford University.
