
Madeline Shiley is a GPL Government Innovation Fellow based in Columbia, South Carolina. She is supporting the design and testing of new referral pathways that connect families at risk of child welfare involvement with community-based services. Prior to joining the GPL, she led the design and implementation of the system of care for youth with substance use disorder in the State of Maine. She has also led work on youth violence intervention for the City of Akron, Ohio, community safety for the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and philanthropic financing for the City of Boston, Massachusetts.
Madeline holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University. When she’s not at work, she can be found spending time with her dog, Mello.
