Lindsey O’Connell served as a GPL Project Leader working with the state of Rhode Island to improve family home visiting programs and manage the performance of Rhode Island Works. Lindsey graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School with a Master in Public Policy, focusing on education policy and nonprofit program evaluation. In her thesis she designed a performance measurement system for Horton’s Kids, a community-based nonprofit in DC, and won the Fischer Prize for improving the quality and effectiveness of programs serving the poor and disadvantaged. Lindsey previously worked in the healthcare technology space as a research associate and business analyst, and as the business manager for Courageous Sailing, a youth development nonprofit. Lindsey received her BA in Government from Georgetown University.
