Kana Osaki-Greenawalt was a Government Innovation Fellow working with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She worked with the Children’s Services Agency to help improve oversight and service delivery of residential service providers in the foster care system. Prior to joining the GPL, Kana earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan with a focus on children and youth. Previously, Kana worked in the nonprofit education sector, and she began her career in management consulting and financial services. Kana holds a BA in Economics and Asian Studies from Cornell University.
