Hena Rafiq is a Government Innovation Fellow working on criminal justice projects in Harris County, Texas. She is currently working with the County’s Pretrial Services Agency on innovations to improve pretrial supports and services. Prior to joining the GPL, Hena worked in community organizing in Texas, focusing on increasing civic engagement among Asian American and Muslim communities. Before attending graduate school, she was a Senior Analyst at Egon Zehnder, a leadership consulting firm, and also served as a Fulbright Scholar in Kosovo. Hena holds a MSc in Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics, as a Rotary Scholar and a BA in Human Rights and Political Science from Southern Methodist University.
