Emily Pramik was a Government Innovation Fellow assisting the State of Rhode Island with performance improvement in workforce development and healthcare. She helped the state improve outcomes for job seekers and Medicaid recipients through active contract management. Prior to joining the GPL, Emily worked as a research assistant at MDRC, where she provided data analysis and project management support for randomized controlled trials of K-12 education interventions, including wrap-around support services and a whole school reading reform. She recently earned her MPP from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy, where she focused on public finance and interned with the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. She holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
