Emily Audet is the Research and Writing Fellow for the Government Performance Lab, where they amplify successful models identified by the GPL through multiple communications media. Emily previously worked at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), where they performed analysis and research to inform the state’s definition of a “food desert” and to support the development of a capital improvements grant for childcare facilities. Before working at NJEDA, Emily was a Judicial Fellow in California’s Capital Fellows Program, through which they served at the Butte County Superior Court to create accessible, plain language resources for individuals without attorneys navigating a civil case. Emily holds a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University and a BA with Honors in Environment, Economics, and Politics from Scripps College.
