Prior to GPL, Emilie was a Consultant with Deloitte Government and Public Services for four years, where she advised federal agencies, non-profits, and international donor organizations on innovative techniques to increase citizen and employee engagement in program design and performance evaluation. Emilie played a leading role in growing Deloitte’s refugee service sector and inclusive human-centered design practice nationally, and she presented her work on inclusive urban planning at conferences in the US and Europe. She also served as a Boren Scholar, studying Turkish language and post-conflict community development in Istanbul from 2015-2016. Emilie is pursuing a joint Master’s in Public Policy and Business Administration with Harvard Kennedy School and Dartmouth Tuck School of Business, and holds a BA in International Studies from American University.
