Elly was a Government Innovation Fellow working with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families to better align services with families’ needs. She has a background driving large-scale organizational change across the public, private & social sectors; prior to the GPL, Elly worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company across Australia & New Zealand. She also specializes in gender equality work – as a freelance consultant, Elly led the strategic redesign & merger of Australia’s oldest women’s not-for-profit organization (the YWCA), and worked with UN Special Rapporteur Elizabeth Broderick to convene Australia’s top CEOs to achieve gender equality in the workplace, through the Male Champions of Change. She holds a first class BA in Politics from the University of Melbourne (Australia), and a dual MPP/MBA from the University of Oxford.
