Daniella Urbina

Government Innovation Fellow - Los Angeles


Daniella Urbina was a Government Innovation Fellow working with the Los Angeles County Homeless Services Authority. She received her MPA from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), focusing on Economic and Political Development. During graduate school, Daniella conducted program evaluations to improve performance outcomes for development projects in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. She was the SIPA-elected representative to the Columbia University Senate where she advocated for students facing financial insecurity and mental health concerns.

Previously, Daniella worked on political campaigns beginning with Senator Boxer’s reelection in 2010 and President Obama’s 2012 campaign. She then worked on Capitol Hill and the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee. Most recently, Daniella was the Political Opportunity Program Coordinator at EMILY’s List where she worked with candidates across the country to elect pro-choice Democratic women into office. Daniella also holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
