Christina Galardi

Christina worked as a Government Innovation Fellow, assisting with performance improvement projects for Medicaid programs through her employment with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Christina earned a Master of Public Health and Master of City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in graduate school, she conducted research on health impacts of Vision Zero, a traffic safety policy initiative, for the San Francisco Department of Public Health. She also trained state public health professionals to use mapping software for place-based policy change as a project assistant at Counter Tools. Christina completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in South Korea after finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of South Carolina.
