Apoorva Murari

Apoorva is a Government Innovation Fellow working on upstream prevention efforts in the Children & Families Team. In this role, Apoorva is working to strengthen voluntary, community-based support for families, including maximizing the value of 211, Family Resource Centers, and other community-based hubs.

Before GPL, Apoorva led the systemic reform of public education system across multiple states in India, including redesigning teacher training programs, introducing ed-tech to classrooms, and building mechanisms for data-backed decision making. Apoorva holds a Master's in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she attended as a Mason Scholar. She also holds an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, Brighton, where she attended as a Chevening Scholar.
