Anna Robinson

Anna Robinson is a Government Innovation Fellow for the Homelessness and Housing team in Denver, Colorado. She supports the State of Colorado in assessing housing needs for individuals exiting prisons and connecting individuals at risk of experiencing homelessness with housing post-release.

Before joining the GPL, Anna spent 5+ years conducting research on public benefit programs to evaluate their effectiveness, recommend improvements, and deepen understanding of different populations’ experiences of homelessness, financial well-being, and behavioral health care amongst other topics at Abt Associates. She worked with non-profits and local, state, and federal government agencies including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office. Select projects she worked on include the Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress, an evaluation of a demonstration supporting low-income seniors to age in place in HUD properties, and a study of Housing Choice Voucher recipients’ experiences finding housing to improve landlord incentives for participating in the program. Anna is passionate about leveraging data to improve the efficacy and equitability of programs and engaging, uplifting, and incorporating the voices of people with lived experience in all stages of program planning, execution, and evaluation. Anna holds a BA in Psychology from Muhlenberg College.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys rock climbing, participating in Jewish community events, cooking elaborate recipes, thrifting, and figure studio live drawing.
