Aneesa Andrabi

Aneesa Andrabi is a Government Innovation Fellow working with the Housing and Homelessness team to identify opportunities to improve the rehousing process in Chicago to be more efficient, effective and equitable. She is also supporting projects to improve pathways to prevention services for Alameda County residents experiencing housing instability. Aneesa has six years of experience driving innovative and creative policy in both the public and private sector.

Prior to GPL, Aneesa served as Infrastructure Manager in the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, where she helped direct the Mayor’s agenda on public works and delivered economic relief programs during the pandemic. Previously, she consulted for HR&A Advisors, Inc., a national urban development advisory firm. Aneesa holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and is a graduate of Swarthmore College. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming in the ocean, exploring mountains and experimenting with Pakistani recipes in the kitchen.
