
Analisa Sorrells
Project Leader
Analisa Sorrells is a Project Leader on the Research & Writing team, where she amplifies insights, evidence, and lessons learned from across the GPL’s Safety & Justice portfolio, including on alternative 911 emergency response, pretrial justice, and community-based public safety. As a Fellow at the GPL, she also conducted research on school food procurement.
Before joining the GPL, Analisa worked as Chief of Staff for EducationNC, a media and policy outlet in North Carolina, where she completed research and reporting on strengthening school nutrition programs. During graduate school, Analisa worked as a fellow on the transition team for the Mayor of Rochester, New York and with The Rockefeller Foundation’s U.S. Food Initiative.
Analisa holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where she enjoys exploring public parks and practicing yoga.
