Alice Heath is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and a part-time Project Leader (Research) at the Government Performance Lab. Her research focuses on how social policy and program design impact the health, education, and labor market outcomes of parents and children. Before starting her PhD, Alice provided technical assistance to several of Rhode Island’s health and human services agencies as a full-time fellow at the GPL. She started her career in the UK as a secondary school mathematics teacher. Alice holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School.
