Since launching in 2011, the GPL has completed 242 projects in 36 states, supporting state and local governments to build more just and effective service systems. The GPL develops and tests innovations, invests in public servants, and spreads promising practices.
In 2023, we launched four new projects to curb housing instability, welcomed our largest-ever Alternative 911 Emergency Response Implementation Cohort, began testing alternatives to punitive child welfare interventions, and delivered trainings and resources to more than 1,200 procurement professionals.
As we turn to the work ahead in 2024, we are excited to share highlights from 2023 in: “Supporting Governments in Improving Resident Outcomes: Highlights from 2023 at the Government Performance Lab.”
