Ryan Gillette was a Program Director with the Government Performance Lab. During his tenure with GPL, Ryan has supported the development and launch of Pay for Success/Social Impact Bond initiatives in Massachusetts, Chicago, and Connecticut on issues ranging from reducing recidivism to increasing access to high quality pre-school. He now leads GPL’s efforts in California to expand performance contracting across the state, and oversees additional projects in Arkansas, Dallas, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.   

Prior to joining GPL, Ryan worked at the National Bureau of Economic Research on the final evaluation of HUD’s Moving to Opportunity voucher study and with ideas42, a Harvard University behavioral economics think tank. He holds a BA in Economics and Russian from Middlebury College and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
