Danielle Cerny was a Program Director with the Government Performance Lab at the Harvard Kennedy School. Before joining the GPL, Danielle worked with the Massachusetts Senate, Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, and the National Women’s Law Center. Danielle holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, a J.D. from Georgetown Law, and a B.A. with honors in Public Policy from Brown University. In her work at the GPL, Danielle led a team helping Rhode Island and Massachusetts state agencies use performance data to inform procurement, budget, and programmatic decisions and enable rigorous evaluation of management and policy reforms. Danielle also served as Social Innovation Finance Manager for Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Administration and Finance (ANF) structuring, contracting for, and managing the state’s three Pay for Success (PFS) initiatives.
